It enforces ordinances such as Tree & Woodland Preservation, anti-Blight, Litter, Business Licenses, Sidewalk, Animal Control, Solid Waste, and several sections of the Zoning Ordinance. The Ordinance Department deals with the Police Department, Fire Department, Building Department, Department of Public Works, and the Recreation and Maintenance Department. They also deal with the Fire and Police Pension and Retirement Board, and several other committees and commissions as well as the Building Authority. This office deals with the Historical, Beautification, Sidewalk and Solid Waste and Recycling Committees. The Clerkâs Office is the official keeper of the Township Records as well as overseeing the administration of elections and the keeping of voter registrations. It deals with any building problems or concerns. The Building Department administers and enforces ordinance provisions pertaining to fences, sidewalks, tree and woodland preservation, and unsafe buildings and zoning.
